This policy explains what personal information Aswad Family Restaurant (“we”, “us”) collects through this website and our staff apps, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Orders: your name, mobile number, delivery address, landmark, area or pincode, the dishes you order, payment method and any note you add.
- Dining in: if you choose to give it, your name and mobile number, so we can send your bill on WhatsApp and remember your visits. You can say no, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
- Table bookings, catering and other enquiries: the details you type in the form. These forms open WhatsApp, so the message is sent by you through WhatsApp.
- Technical data: your internet (IP) address, kept for a short time to stop spam and repeated fake orders.
Why we use it
- To prepare and deliver your order, and to call or message you about it.
- To keep bills and sales records for our accounts and as required by law.
- To protect the website from misuse.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising without asking you.
Who can see it
Only our staff who need it: the manager, kitchen staff (dishes and notes only) and the delivery rider for your order (name, number, address and amount). If you message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp’s own privacy policy also applies. Our website is stored with our web hosting provider.
How long we keep it
Order and bill records are kept as long as needed for our accounts and legal requirements. Spam-protection data is deleted automatically within a day.
Cookies and storage
The website stores your cart and your last order number in your own browser so you can see your order status. Staff apps use a login cookie. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your choices
You can ask us to show, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent, by contacting us below. We will reply within a reasonable time. Some bill records may need to be kept for legal reasons.
